Patience- The Art of Believing
“Have a goal in your life. Get going to achieve it. But have “PATIENCE.”
In this ‘ready-to-cook era, people want everything in just two minutes. But we all know that even two-minute noodles take more to get ready. Undoubtedly, we can place an order online in a few taps, but that order takes a few minutes to reach us. So, no matter how technology has advanced our way of living, we still require PATIENCE to get them in our lives.
Since the times of Mahabharata, patience has been given the utmost importance to achieve any goal. But keeping patience doest not mean ‘Doing nothing and wait for everything; it’s about ‘Doing everything and keeping calm to achieve most of everything.’ I know this sounds too heavy to absorb, so let me give you a real-life example.
Most of us aspire to have a reputed designation at our workplace. However, only some of us study hard, work smart, and do everything possible to fulfill our aspirations. While most of us are dedicated to random scrolling, sending inappropriate memes, and following every Twitter thread. Over this, we envy and leave everything on time in the name of ‘keeping patience.’
Keeping patience is not about sitting idle and waiting for the right time to get things to happen. It’s all about to get going every time and having faith in turning the tables around. Losing your temper over the things which are not in our control is one of the things to learn before absorbing the quality of patience.
We start cursing our destiny, doubting our worth, and cursing our time utilized if things don’t fall into place. However, we need to understand things will happen when they are destined to happen, and taking an unnecessary load on our minds won’t be good for anyone.
We all know about the struggles of Neeraj Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, JK Rowling, Nelson Mandela, and many more. They didn’t get success in a day, but they struggle for years, having a belief in their hearts that one day everything will be alright.
This article is kind of a pep talk, but I just want to convey that “It’s never too late to start, but you need to start, keep moving and believe in yourself to achieve most of the things you aspire in your life.”
Patience is not the ability to wait but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting- Joyce Meyer
