In this digital era, people are spending most of their time on smartphones. Most of them keep their mind busy scrolling social media pages, reading articles, watching YouTube videos, posting on social media accounts and whatnot.

Undoubtedly, the internet and smartphones have become a necessity and inseparable part of our life. However, I feel that this digital era is becoming all about grasping every fact, learning about new things, laughing at funny memes, posting on social media accounts, tweeting and retweeting.

Day-by-day, we are tangling ourselves in the world of unlimited web pages and an extensive number of mobile applications. While untangling the facts of history and polity (by learning new facts every day), we are missing to live in the present.

We somehow forget to enjoy the spring sunshine, blooming flowers, reading novels, cooking delicious food, playing board games and long calming walks. We are slowly missing the feeling of being loved and showing affection to our loved ones; forgetting the way to respond to people in real, and obliviating to feel our every breath.

Most importantly we are facing troubles in understanding the value of emotions like happiness, sadness, love, affection, appreciation and much more. We find sending emojis and GIFs on WhatsApp much easier than enjoying coffee with our family and friends.

I might not be the right person to advise you on anything. But, from my personal experience, I just want everyone who is reading this to enjoy every moment. Start spending more time with people who actually matter to you; start a new hobby or live that old one again; don't hesitate in sharing your feelings and absorbing every emotion that is coming across your life!

Your pages of life are much more than all those web pages on the internet!
